St Vincent’s Care Services in Werribee, a new residential aged care facility of St Vincent’s Health Australia (SVHA), was blessed and opened on 4 August by Archbishop Denis Hart DD of Melbourne.
Also in attendance were Trustees of Mary Aikenhead Ministries Dr Tessa Ho, Sr Helen Clarke rsc, David Alcock and Gary Humphrys, SVHA Chair Paul Robertson, SVHA CEO Toby Hall, SVHA Board Directors Professor Suzanne Crowe, Sr Mary Wright ibvm, Brendan Earle and Sr Maryanne Confoy rsc, SVHA Aged Care Services CEO John Leahy and senior SVHA staff.
Following the opening liturgy and plaque unveiling, guests and residents enjoyed morning tea and refreshments.
The Trustees and SVHA Directors also took the opportunity to look over the impressive new facility.
The tour included an inspection of the adjacent and nearly completed SVHA Werribee Private Hospital which is on track to open early in 2018.
